On The Road To Glasgow

The blog is a bit delayed with service difficulties on Skye and now the iPad not connecting using my data server. We arrived in Glasgow about 2:00 this afternoon. I'm using wifi at our hotel, but even that seems intermittent. It was a long, interesting but tiring drive from the Highlands to Scotland 's biggest city. I will post my observations on that later.
We just spent a very pleasant evening with Nicole's family and details/photos for that will come later as well, once I sort out the tech issue. In the meantime, I will share with you photos from Skye which I forgot to post yesterday.

The road to the Talisker Distillery goes through farm country. The farmers on Skye have quite a sense of humour when it comes to scarecrows. We had several chuckles along the route. They must do the trick for we saw no crows:) Enjoy!
