My last post on this blog was five years ago. During that time we have enjoyed travel locally in British Columbia as well as trips to Arizona, California, Hawaii and Washington states. The highlight was a family vacation to Hawaii in November 2014. It was a joy to introduce the beauty of Maui to our sons, daughter-in-laws and grandchildren
Unlike the writing in the sand, which gently washed away, our
aloha memories are etched forever in our hearts and minds.
The earlier posts in this blog documented journeys we took to the lands of our ancestors - Scotland, Wales, England and India. The following posts will record another ancestral adventure of sorts during a Panama Cruise. My next post will explain the ancestral connection further but in the meantime here is a sneak preview of the ship, upon which we will sail. These photos were taken August 30 from the Ogden Point Breakwater in Victoria, BC when the Oceania Regatta was on a voyage to Alaska.
